What we collect

• Email address, name, and optionally mobile number, home city, and state
• Your selected interests: topics, cities, and breweries you subscribe to
• IP address and timestamp at signup (for consent verification and fraud prevention)
• UTM source / referring page

Why we collect it

• To match you with events relevant to your stated interests
• To share your contact information with event sponsors for events matching your interests (see our data-sharing explainer)
• To send transactional email: signup confirmation, magic-link access, RSVP confirmation

Data sharing with sponsors

When a sponsor funds an event matching your interests, we share your name, email, and relevant interest signals with that sponsor. We do not share your mobile number with anyone. We do not sell data to brokers or ad networks. Full details are in our data-sharing explainer.

Retention

Active subscribers are retained for as long as they remain subscribed. Unsubscribed users are retained in the consent audit log for legal purposes but excluded from all active data products.

Your rights

• Access: request a copy of your data at any time
• Correction: update your information via the preferences page
• Deletion: email privacy@devsecbeerops.com and we will process within 30 days
